Burntail sighed and slowed down, coming to the camp. Mallowkit was in the center of camp, Cloudkit nearby, his pelt covered in brambles. He padded over to Cloudkit, sniffing his fur. "It's nothing to make a fuss over." he sighed. "No cat has died yet over brambles."

Mallowkit twitched her ears. She knew Burntail was right. That was why she hadn't been so ruthless as to run out of camp to search for the medicien cat.

[Frost]

Scorchstar, feeling mildly embarassed that he made such a fuss, padded out of camp to go back out on a hunt.

Burntail padded to his den, grabbing marigold leaves and bringing them to Cloudkit. "This is the only thing I can do, and it will sting a bit." he told him, chewing one of the leaves into a polutice. He spat out the polutice, and began to pull out thorns that covered the kit. He winced but didn't complain or wiggle, making Burntail's job easier. When he got all of them out, Burntail began rubbing the marigold onto the scratches. "This will make them so they won't get infected." he told Cloudkit. "Now go lay in your den and rest."

[Frost]

Scorchtail sighed and tore at a patch of grass anxiously.

Burntail sat up, watching Cloudkit pad gingerly to the nursery. He sighed, and padded to sit beside Scorchstar. "Are you all right?" he asked his leader, noticing him ripping shreds of grass.

Cloudkit padded into the nursery, and lied down in his nest. He tucked his paws under him, and rolled over slightly. Wincing, he sat up again.

Mallowkit watched Burntail and her brother go.
